These New Year Party Crowns are very easy to make and only need basic supplies you already have at home. You can make this craft project ahead of time or you can make the kids create them at the party while waiting for the new year’s countdown.
Here’s what you need:
- Printed New Year Paper Crowns Template (click here to download)
- Ribbon
- Scissors
- Hot Glue or double-sided tape
Step One
Print out our free New Year Paper Crowns template on cardstock. You can also use regular book paper if the cardstock is not available. Just glue the regular book paper on a piece of light cardboard or cereal box to make it sturdy.
Step Two
Cut the template using scissors. Make sure kids are supervised when they use any sharp object while making this project.
Step Three
Hot glue or use double-sided tape to attach the ribbon at the lower back part of the paper crown template.
Step Four
Fit the paper crown on your child’s head and tie a bowknot to secure!
And you’re done!
